Regarding your inquiry about a warranty, unfortunately, we do not offer a warranty on the vehicle. It was sold in its current condition, as seen.

Our pricing includes CIF (Cost, Insurance, and RORO Freight), export processing fees, duties, inland freight charges, customs clearance processing fees, and currency exchange fees. If needed, we can take the vehicle to TCD for an initial inspection.

***Please note that you are still responsible for paying your own permit fee, annual registration fee, signage on your vehicle and annual insurance.***

Yes, you can obtain a commercial van permit with TCD if you have registered your business at least self-employed with the Office of the Tax Commissioner. Additionally, you must be current on your payroll tax payments and Social Insurance contributions.

If you would like to learn more about registering your business with the Office of the Tax Commissioner, please visit this link.

Under normal circumstances, if full payment is received before the 16th of each month, we will process the export procedure and reserve space on a RORO (Roll-On/Roll-Off) ship. Vehicles typically depart from Japan at the end of each month and take approximately 8 to 10 weeks to reach Bermuda.

However, due to COVID-19, the availability of space on RORO ships can be unpredictable. We prioritize vehicles that have been fully paid for by the deadline; in other words, the “pay first, go first” policy applies as soon as space becomes available.

If you prefer not to wait for available space on a RORO ship due to time constraints, we offer an alternative option. You can choose to ship your vehicle in a 40ft container, although this option will incur higher freight charges. Please contact us for updated pricing and to secure your shipment with confidence.

Yes, you do, unless you have special permission from TCD for your business not to put the sign on the van.

Before purchasing any vehicle that resembles a passenger vehicle, we recommend sending the special specifications to the TCD for confirmation or approval to license the vehicle as LIGHT or IN.

***Please be aware that even with a TCD permit for LIGHT or IN, the customs department may not recognize the TCD import letter or permit for business use but they may classify your vehicle as intended for passenger use. In such cases, customs may charge a rate of 75% plus wharfage on the first $10,000, and 150% on any amount over that.
